DUAL SCREEN IPHONE VISION CONCEPT IS A GLIMPSE INTO THE FUTURE OF APPLE
Like the idea of a foldable smartphone, but cannot commit to one because you are gravely engrossed in the Apple ecosystem? There is still time before Apple actually outs the much anticipated and excessively rumored foldable iPhone, until then, ADR Studio Design has unveiled a unique concept, meant to captivate the attention of Apple loyalists desirous of a dual-screen phone.
Similar to the iPhone 3 with a top-mounted power button and curved frame, the iPhone Vision stands a class apart with a secondary display on the back, which is far more striking and useful than found on the ROG phones.
Designer: Antonio De Rosa
By idealizing two screens, the iPhone Vision is pushing the boundaries of smartphone design. It is an interesting glimpse into the future of Apple’s smartphone plans where a tiny screen on the back permits access to notifications and widgets without the user having to flip the phone.
Besides, the intriguing concept from Antonio De Rosa also deviates from Apple’s tested display outlook to arrive with a captivating waterfall design. The screen nicely stretches around the curved edges of the phone providing edge-to-edge viewing on the iPhone screen.
While the curved screen display enhances the user’s interaction with the phone, the built-in ProMotion screen here manages a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate so you get fluid graphics and stunning picture quality no matter the content. Just like its predecessors, the iPhone Vision comes with Space Audio. It permits 360-degree surround sound effects through the iPhone’s speaker so your favorite game or FaceTime call sounds realistic.
Beyond the sound and display, the iPhone Vision also stretches its limits to arrive with Liquid Lens and Periscopic Lens on the back. Liquid Lens ensures high-res images in all light conditions and the Periscopic lens captures images to the last possible detail. I’m not really sure of a market for this project, but if it sees the light of day with the suggested M2 chipset, we are in for a pretty steep price to go with.
